Agricultural Tourism



Our main centre of Agricultural Tourism include the tea plantations in Central Kenya (Nyeri, Kiambu, Ruiru, Limuru, etc). Apart from Tea and Coffee,  Kenya's other agricultural tourism attractions include farms with massive production of horticultural produce (including flowers), rice and aquaculture - mainly in cut fish and tilapia production.

Voi Wildlife Lodge is located in the Savannah grasslands of Tsavo East, just 5km off the Nairobi - Mombasa highway on a 25-acre site on the boundary of Tsavo East National Park, with spectacular views of nearby volcanic outcrops, such as the Kasigau, Sagalla and Mwakingali Hills. Designed to blend unassumingly into the surrounding environment, the lodge boasts a natural waterhole often attracting big game, including elephant, lion, cheetah, buffalo as well as a rich variety of birdlife.

Voi Wildlife Lodge offers accommodation in 72 fully furnished and decorated rooms in three categories; standard, superior & luxury. Rooms close to the lobby are specially designed for the handicap+ped. Voi Wildlife Lodge's 72 rooms have spacious en-suite bathrooms and are furnished in African decor that is replicated throughout the lodge while the luxury rooms feature four-poster beds each with views of the Tsavo East savannahs.

Voi Wildlife Lodge also has tents with en- suite bathrooms. Each tent accommodates two beds and gives you the feeling of camping in the wild. There are also a number of rooms specifically designed to cater for disabled guests.

Paved paths, lit by night, lead from your room to the reception and the Tembo restaurant, which is constructed using local ‘makuti’ thatch roofing. Voi Wildlife Lodge's Tembo restaurant offers a wide selection of international and vegetarian cuisine; Bush breakfasts and packed lunches can be also arranged for your days out on Kenya safari.

The Sundowner Bar and lounge have a spectacular game-viewing platform both night and day. Designed on stilts overlooking the waterhole, the bar extends into the park allowing you to get as close as possible to the sights and sounds of the Kenyan bush. Adjacent to the Tembo Restaurant, the Mandhari Bar provides an alternative setting in which to view game or enjoy a after dinner drinks.
