Agricultural Tourism



Our main centre of Agricultural Tourism include the tea plantations in Central Kenya (Nyeri, Kiambu, Ruiru, Limuru, etc). Apart from Tea and Coffee,  Kenya's other agricultural tourism attractions include farms with massive production of horticultural produce (including flowers), rice and aquaculture - mainly in cut fish and tilapia production.

Ashnil Aruba lodge is named after Aruba dam, an oasis which forms an irresistible attraction to wildlife. this brand new lodge sits amongst landscaped gardens close to the dam. It has a swimming pool, fine restaurant, bar, souvenir shop, viewing decks and conferencing and business centre facilities.

Accommodation at the Ashnil Aruba Lodge

Ashnil Aruba Lodge offers 40 deluxe rooms, each with a terrace to enjoy the scenery, whilst some villas have interconnecting rooms and also some with for facilities the disabled. There is also some tented accommodation for those who want to experience a night under canvas - but there is a slight premium for the tents, and unlike the rooms, an extra bed for a child or 3rd adult cannot be added.

Dining at the Ashnil Aruba Lodge

Ashnil Aruba Lodge's open sitting restaurant is located in the main building and it overlooks the dam at all angles and can sit a maximum of 150 guests. The wooden deck shaded by canvas umbrellas can be used as extra sitting place during meal times e.g. breakfast, lunch or dinner. The buffet platforms, both warm and cold, sit in the middle of the restaurant for easy access by all.

Meal plan at the Ashnil Aruba Lodge is on Full board accommodation basis. Buffet setting is the preferred serving style but if a guest has a specific request out of the normal buffet served, an a la’ carte menu to suit their needs that is chargeable can be arrange for.

How to get to Ashnil Aruba Safari Lodge

Ashnil Aruba lodge is located in Tsavo East national Park and is easily accessible by air and road - it is approximately 160 Km from Mombasa and 300 Km from Nairobi. The nearest airstrip is 25 minutes away from the lodge.
