Agricultural Tourism



Our main centre of Agricultural Tourism include the tea plantations in Central Kenya (Nyeri, Kiambu, Ruiru, Limuru, etc). Apart from Tea and Coffee,  Kenya's other agricultural tourism attractions include farms with massive production of horticultural produce (including flowers), rice and aquaculture - mainly in cut fish and tilapia production.

Ol Tukai Lodge offers 80 chalet-style rooms, either twin or double. The furniture is of the highest quality, with large and comfortable beds, coffee table and chairs and luxuriously appointed bathrooms. Décor is comfortable and elegant with bursts of bright colour offering a contemporary African twist. The delightful patio seating on the private veranda is a cozy place to enjoy a drink, stargaze or even spot a herd of free-ranging elephants wandering in the distance.

For the executive traveler, or perhaps a larger group or family traveling together, Ol Tukai Lodge's Kibo Villa is a three-bedroom log cabin offering the ultimate in privacy and serenity. Kibo is built from stone and gum tree, blending harmoniously with its beautiful surroundings of tall trees and lush lawns. All bedrooms are en suite, with the master bedroom even opening onto a rooftop terrace with outdoor Jacuzzi. From here, the views of Amboseli and Kilimanjaro are utterly stunning. With a lounge, dining room and kitchen, guests can self cater if they wish, or be catered. Guests are welcome to use all lodge facilities.

Ol Tukai Lodge's architecture is unobtrusive with lots of wood, local stone and slate. The lodge has it’s own little chapel that can be used or weddings,  conference facility with all visual aids and modern conference facilities. Optional champagne breakfasts, bush dining or sundowners at the summit of Observation Hill, where the 360-degree view of Amboseli National Park is superb, compliment morning and evening game drives.

The afternoon allows for a siesta, a massage or a refreshing swim before the afternoon game drive where one can view the profusion of game and bird life supported by Amboseli National Park. Evening entertainment includes Maasai dancing and optional cultural lectures for an additional cost. Make time to sit, watch, listen and relax, Ol Tukai has plenty to offer.
