Agricultural Tourism

Our main centre of Agricultural Tourism include the tea plantations in Central Kenya (Nyeri, Kiambu, Ruiru, Limuru, etc). Apart from Tea and Coffee,  Kenya's other agricultural tourism attractions include farms with massive production of horticultural produce (including flowers), rice and aquaculture - mainly in cut fish and tilapia production.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge is situated in the foothills of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro, in 190 acres of beautiful Masai woodland in Amboseli National park. Amboseli Sopa Lodge is surrounded by wooded gardens with thorn trees, acacias, cacti, frangipanis and colourful bougainvillea.

Accommodation at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge is set out in 83 rooms, some of which can be turned into triple rooms and have adjoining doors – ideal for families on safari.

Dining at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Dining at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge takes place in the Kibo Restaurant, named after Mount Kilimanjaro's tallest peak. It is a delightful round construction with an authentic thatched roof. There is a central fireplace, which is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view of the mountain right out the window. The colour scheme is red, mustard and brown, lending the place a warm, bush-like ambience.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge Lounge

The Mawenzi Bar is furnished with beautiful African driftwood furniture. The windows afford yet more views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and the outdoor terrace is a great place to take your nightcap. 

Hemingway's Bar, built as a house for the great man himself features a beautiful marble fireplace decorated with stones, carved wooden stools and leather chairs. This bar sits at the very top of the property and gives out onto the watering hole, frequented often by thirsty elephants.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge Suite

Amboseli Sopa Lodge offers a swimming pool plus child's pool, a pool bar where one can obtain drinks and snacks and offers a babysitting service. Board games are available at reception.
